This blog was created as an attempt to document our trip to South East Asia. The initial intention was to travel for at least a few months but the reality turned out to be less generous: the four of us are going for merely 4 weeks and we’ll probably only get a little bite of what we’d initially dreamt of seeing. But hey, we’re going to the other side of the world and we’re going to make the absolute most of it. Setting off from Edinburgh, Scotland, at the end of October 2011 we have an outline of an itinerary, no in-depth planning nor booking, except for the first night. Having a list of places we would like to visit and things we would like to do, we’ll be going with the flow. The author of the blog hasn’t yet informed all the participants of the journey that they feature in the blog and is hoping to surprise them once we get there.

...czyli liczba tygodni, które pozostały do odlotu. Po dość zaciekłej dyskusji na temat tego, ile nocy mamy spędzić w Bangkoku przystaliśmy na 2, chociaż według tekstu pewnego wielkiego - przynajmniej z komunistycznej Polsce - hiciora z lat osiemdziesiątych: 'One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster', już jedna noc wystarczy, by świat stał się twoją ostrygą. Interpretację tekstu pozostawiam czytelnikom (nie można mieć wszystkiego podanego na talerzu, bo życie byłoby nudne..). Więc świat będzie naszą prywatną ostrygą tylko przez 2 noce i 3 dni, bo jest na świecie jeszcze podobno tyle cudów, że żeby je oglądać trzeba się uwijać ;)
